Travel Tips

  • Buy food and other supplies first at the wet market before boarding the boat to Alibijaban. There are stores on the island but the supplies are limited.
  • Cooking/grilling utensils can be borrowed, just leave a tip to the caretakers.
  • Bonfire is NOT ALLOWED.
  • Electricity is limited. Generators are up from 6pm to 6am.
  • You can rent a boat to tour the whole island. However, I suggest to just walk since the location of the mangroves forest and the sand bar is not too far - just around 20-30 minutes by foot. You can ask some kids to guide you and tip them. It's more fun to walk around the island :)
  • Low tide starts at 3:00 PM.
