Canyon Cove - Nasugbu, Batangas

Do you want a quick escape from the city’s hustle and bustle? Well, here’s to share with you a trip to the edge of Batangas to flush your body’s stress.

Canyon Cove residential resort in Nasugbu, Batangas is an ideal weekend escape to find relaxation from your daily grind in the metro. Feel and breathe the haven’s fresh air with a tang of sea breeze while facing the West Philippine Sea.

If you look for some adventure, brace yourself for a Jet Ski, Kayak or enjoy a Banana boat ride with friends. Otherwise, if you just want to seize a moment of peace, simply lie on the sand and enjoy the sunset. Canyon Cove is a complete venue for family bonding and barkada hang-out!

The resort’s stunning lobby welcomed us and courteous staff, its interior is modern with a touch of native details.

What I like most in Canyon Cove are their homey comfortable rooms.

There are three beds in a standard room, so this is good for 4-5 persons

It has LCD TV, spacious cabinets, a mini refrigerator, an electric kettle and eating utensils.

This capiz-inspired native wall art caught my eyes in a jiffy, looks classy.

I love this creative tiled lamp shade, wished I could bring it home! Haha. :)

Spic and span shower room...

with free toiletries!

The resort has children’s playground and Volleyball court.
There are also grilling pans, perfect for a barbecue party.

Swimming pools for kids and adults are allowed to be used until 9:00 pm while beach swimming is only allowed until 6:00 pm.
However, anyone can beach stroll until 9:00 pm.

Wanna drink in the cold evening?
There's a mini bar located just beside the pool.

Good morning from veranda! This is the vantage point to view the resort's tranquility.

P.S. Wearing of swimming trunks/suits is a must while in the pool.

Panorama shot.

This shower is a total eye-candy.

Panoramic shot of the beach, taken at around 6:00 am.

In case you want to dine in the beach, cottages are for rent.

Banana boats for rent, Php150 per person for 15 minutes.

Me and my best friend under the sea...

...and under the pool, too. :)

Souvenir shop is located at the lobby.

...snacks are also available, but quite pricey than in convenience stores.

Some quirky finds...

Where to eat:
Canyon Cove offers buffet meal every breakfast, lunch and dinner that is really pricey. Snacks are sold in their convenience store, too.

If you opt for a more affordable feast, a tricycle ride will take you to the town where fast-food restaurants such as Mang Inasal, Chowking and Jollibee are located.

However, if you’re really on a tight budget, there are canteens/carinderias outside the resort and it’s just a few minutes of walk away. A meal only costs around Php30-40
